Career history: Career history: François Carrard has been a practising attorney since 1967. He is a partner in the law firm of Kellerhals Carrard, Lausanne. He is a specialist in corporate law, particularly banking and finance, and sports law - he is legal counsel to the International Olympic Committee, and was its former Director General from 1989 to 2003. He also specialises in international arbitration and mediation.
