Biography: In 1972, after obtaining an engineering degree from Centrale Lille and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance in the United States, Alain Blanc-Brude joined SARTEC, a French company specialising in maintenance services for large industrial groups. He was appointed Managing Director in 1975 and organised the turnaround of the company. In 1985, he sold his shares inthe company to pursue a career in private equity. He joined the Alpha group in 1986 where he served as Chairman of the Management Board until 2002, before beingappointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Alpha Associés Conseil from 2005 to 2019. In 30 years, Alpha has become one of the leading private equity firms (LBO mid-cap) in Continental Europe with over 130 acquisitions and 120 disposals. Mr. Blanc-Brude.has served on the Board of Directorsof many of these companies, including Alain Afflelou, Loxam, NextRadio (RMC/BFM group), Cegelec, and Materis. In 2010, he created Midas Wealth Management where he isChairman ofthe Board of Directors.
