In 1992, Tradition began covering equity derivatives, including the DAX Index and German single stocks, with a start-up team in Frankfurt. By 2002, Tradition grew to become one of the top five brokers in a field of over 45 firms covering global equity derivatives markets.
Tradition brokers options and swaps regionally and globally on all major equity indices and single stocks, as well as a variety of emerging equity markets. With non-clearing memberships on the LIFFE, EUREX and SAFEX exchanges, Tradition now provides in-depth brokerage services within all major European markets inclusive of French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Scandinavian and UK, OTC and exchange-traded products.
Tradition also provides its clients with coverage of the US equity derivatives markets via Tradition Securities and Derivatives, Inc, Member FINRA (www.finra.org), NFA, ISE, SIPC (www.sipc.org). Synergy between the New York and London dealing desks provides European clients with the ability to deal in US markets.
Full brokerage service is provided to the Asia-Pacific region, covering index, single stocks, exotic options and variance swaps from the Tradition office in Hong Kong, thus completing a global coverage of these products.
